Hello everybody! (or the 3 people who will end up reading this...)

Busy, busy, busy! I've been hard at work finishing my next novel, The Path We Choose, and while I hoped to have it ready by the end of October, that just isn't going to happen. The story is far more complex than my first, and I am making sure every detail is correct before I put it out into the world. 

I'm beyond excited to talk about the characters and everything they're going through... just need to wait a little longer (yes, that's a message to myself). 

I can share a few details without giving anything away, though:

• The story follows Matthew Parham, a main character from my first novel, Misplaced and Forgotten. However, you need not have read that book to follow the events of this one.
• Outside the first chapter, the story is set in the afterlife, allowing lesser-known (and some quite famous) historical figures to join the narrative. 
• After nearly 2 years of writing and editing and revising and rewriting... the book is around 400 pages.

I plan to take a short writing break after finishing this novel so I can catch up on some reading (I don't read any fiction while writing. No need to risk picking up another writer's voice or style). That being said, I have way too many story ideas to keep my hands off a keyboard for long.
